Triggerfish

Triggerfish is passionate about drawing on their unique, homegrown perspective to create character-driven, universal stories. they work and play from a studio on a picturesque farm surrounded by mountains in the heart of the city of Cape Town.

Triggerfish took its first plunge in 1996 as a high-end stop-frame studio producing animation for Takalani Sesame Street as well as creating some of South Africa's most memorable commercials. Ten years later, the studio branched out into CG, focusing on long-form character animation. By developing a pipeline for delivering high quality material in a very short turnaround, Triggerfish rapidly produced several short films for international clients and established itself as a world-class animation studio.

More recently Triggerfish finished their full Animated Feature called Zambezia and are in production on Khumba, (Watch the Trailers below. )
They are an Autodesk Softimage House with numerous animators working around the clock. A number of Touchvision students have been employed by them.
