• Stereo timeline with synchronized stereo editing and timeline effects
• Stereo object and stereo camera rig in Action (including import through Autodesk® FBX® technology)
• Multiple outputs including left and right eye in Action*
• Duplicate function for greater consistency when compositing across multiple nodes
• Stereo monitoring and preview modes
• 100 percent compatible stereo timeline support between Smoke and Autodesk® Flame® visual
effects software

3D Compositing Enhancements

The Smoke 2011 release unleashes more of the power of the Action core 3D compositing architecture.

Action now supports multiple outputs—including comp, matte, and media matte—to help enrich the 3D compositing experience for advanced visualeffects and stereo 3D creation. Action also supports the new FBX camera, complete with stereo rigs and mono cameras for greater integration and compatibility across certain Autodesk 3D applications.

Native Media Support

The Smoke 2011 release has an unmatch d media ingest capability, a unique workflow that helps

eliminate the time-consuming task of converting your media before working in Smoke. Smoke now enables you to work with true native compressed MXF acquisition formats, intermediate formats (Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD), and RED media, helping to streamline the production process.
